Wednesday, July 7, 2010. Summer has turned the "fantastic four"! June 12th was the magical day, but the birthday celebrations lasted a whole week prior to the event. We participated in a different surprise celebratory activity each day and she got to open one present each morning. The first day of Birthday Week, my mother and I took her out to lunch to the Lion House Pantry in Salt Lake. We first snapped a few shots of her amid the flowers by the Joseph Smith building to capture her extreme cuteness!

Friday, September 24, 2010. A Fair to Remember. It would be fairly fair to say we had more than a fair time at the fair! How's that for uses of the word? Davis County puts on such a darling fair, that to miss it each year would be unhallowed and blasphemous. The best parts were Summer's giggles and grins on the rides and seeing her meet and pet all of the animals. Oh! There was this awesome sheep whose " baaaa. Sounded just like a bass-voiced man. Friday, June 8, 2012. Chase didn't mind missing the last 2 days of school to head out on a vacation! These boys love trips! We met up with my brother and sister and their families and stayed in Las Vegas a couple of days first. The kids loved swimming and playing with each other and visiting each others' hotel rooms. (my boys refer to them as 'number rooms'). I love their happy faces in all the photos! Braxton is saying "I hate Little Mermaid" in that top photo! You guys do great vacations!

Tuesday, October 11, 2011. I decided to make Chase's costume this year since he wanted to be Sonic the Hedgehog. I could only find a costume online and I thought it was overpriced! I also didn't want to pay for shipping. I had to rush a bit to make sure I got it done in time for the school Halloween Carnival and it turned out great. Chase LOVES it!
