Friday, October 9, 2009. Oh what a great day. So I woke up and got to cuddle with my sweetie for a long time because it was Saturday : ) He wished me happy birthday( I kept forgetting because the baby was coming! And then I got ready for my baby shower. It was fabulous! The decorations were so cute, the food was yummy and we played games! I love you so much! That was a great surprise. And after the shower he let me take a nap : ) When I woke up. He put together the stroller! Such a handy man- Thank you!

So, John went and talked to his 1st Sgt, and monitor, and BOTH of them signed off on him extending here for a year so that he can be a CQB instructor. WOOHOOO! Nothing is 100 percent yet. His extension papers have to be signed first. But we will know for sure in the next few weeks. As of now, we will be extending here! Yes, I just love Virginia. So hopefully we will be here until August 2011! Keep your fingers crossed! Our Friends And Family.

We have lived here two and half years, and I think it's snowed 3-4 times. I've never seen more than maybe 2 inches of snow. This snowstorm we got 12 inches! Ward Conference was cancelled, everything was shut down, and we are STILL stuck indoors. They do NOT know how to deal with snow here! Luckily our power has remained on.

We hit up the Outer Banks in North Carolina, the local peanut festival, the Marine Corp Museum, and Mt. Vernon! It was great having her here. She really spoiled us. We enjoyed her here too. Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Valentine's day was a lot of fun this year! Brandon knows how much I love this holiday so when I woke up my sneaky man (don't know when he did it) put up tons of sticky notes up on the mirror of reasons why he loves me. It was so cute!
