About the events leading up to my mastectomy (May 2010), my experience in hospital and my recovery afterwards. I hope it'll be useful for other women going through the same things. It was all done at my local. NHS (UK National Health System). Tuesday, November 30, 2010. I had my first 6 monthly check-up at the hospital yesterday. There was a moderate amount of bleeding and I was very bruised for more than a week after the biopsy. Don't let this put you off - if you need a biopsy, go for it! Links to this post.

Just been diagnosed with 'exhaustion': a combination of doing too much physically and mentally coming to terms with what happened to me.
