Sanity Mochas: SA(S)S
http://sanitymochas.blogspot.com/2011/03/sass.html
The time has come. Sanity Mochas is expanding! As of right now my new blog, SA(S)S, is open for viewing. Let me start by telling you what SA(S)S stands for. As you have probably already guessed, the second 'S' in SA(S)S stands for absolutely nothing; but hey! An extra 's' never hurt anybody and everybody could use a little SA(S)S in their day! And The Great Gatsby. Come visit me soon! I read two of your blogs from there and I liked them alot! March 3, 2011 at 11:08 PM. March 7, 2011 at 2:59 PM. Its a lin...

Sanity Mochas: Southern Belle of the Tourist Type
http://sanitymochas.blogspot.com/2010/12/well-yall-im-writing-to-you-from-quaint.html
Southern Belle of the Tourist Type. Well, Y'all, I'm writing to you from a quaint little hotel in Missouri called the Drury Inn. The occasion for me being away from home isn't that great, being as I'm here for my aunt's funeral, but I am thoroughly enjoying the small town Southern charm. It is so different from the fast pace world of central Illinois! People talk slow, they eat slow, they laugh loud. Altogether refreshing. 10:00PM came and went and BEHOLD! Exit 98B. Starbucks! I looked to my right for an...

Sanity Mochas: Living and Dying and Breathing and Laughing (all at the same time)
http://sanitymochas.blogspot.com/2011/12/hey.html
Living and Dying and Breathing and Laughing (all at the same time). Life was so much easier when I was 12! Not saying that I want to go back, but wow! Life is even more insane and unpredictable than what everyone said! Here's what I say. Life is a game of chance. Sometimes you win. Most of the time you lose. And when you do lose, you pick yourself up and play again, right? Like any true gambler. I lost, okay? I get that. And here's where my next gamble begins. I want to. Cry? Disappear for a few days?

Sanity Mochas: From You
http://sanitymochas.blogspot.com/2011/02/from-you.html
Attention male-readers of all ages! In your heart of hearts, picture this scene:. What would you do? Believe it or not, that scene plays out time and again across the world, except the ending is always different. Every guy has there own way of handling such a situation, and some have become well oiled machines, designed to catch all that look their way. I mean like the sun after a rainbow! Hit me up. (555) 444-3333 (wink, wink).”. Then again, those are the common folk, the ones we all see day after day.

Life on (De) Mars. Tuesday, August 23, 2011. 1/2 C brown sugar. 4C oats (quick or old fashioned). Melt the first 3 ingredients together in sauce pan. Let it simmer for 2 minutes then take it off the heat. Mix together cinnamon and oats in a very large bowl. We use this mostly for snacks and parfaits. I have yet to manage a picture of "after" but I know I will someday! Links to this post. Monday, August 22, 2011. Bacon wrapped brown sugar chicken. A few chicken breasts, cut into strips. Peoria in Pictures: About
http://www.peoriainpictures.com/p/about.html
I'm a transplanted New Mexican, born and raised in the Southwest. I grew up with 350 days of sunshine per year, highs in the 50s during the dead of winter, and real Mexican food. We moved to Peoria in the summer of 2007 where I then suffered some major culture shock. Where was the Mexican food? Where does the sun go? Does anyone here speak Spanish? Needless to say, I've since become pale, have grown to love steak and can pick out a Spanish speaker from a mile away. I believe I've succeeded. Peoria isnt a...

Peoria in Pictures: Sheesh...
http://www.peoriainpictures.com/2015/05/sheesh.html
Sunday, May 24, 2015. Anyway, the Husband and I took a drive from Peoria to Lacon and back again right before the green fuzz started to come out on the trees so I put a little video together for you to enjoy. I'll have to take another one now that everything is green and beautiful. I do have to say, there is a certain charm in the brown right before it all comes alive. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sanity Mochas: A Girl You Should Date
http://sanitymochas.blogspot.com/2011/12/girl-you-should-date.html
A Girl You Should Date. Date a girl who reads. Date a girl who spends her money on books instead of clothes. She has problems with closet space because she has too many books. Date a girl who has a list of books she wants to read, who has had a library card since she was twelve. That’s the reader. They can never resist smelling the pages, especially when they are yellow. Buy her another cup of coffee. Let her know what you really think of Murakami. See if she got through the first chapter of Fellowsh...

Friday, June 5, 2015. I Write Because My Brain Won't Shut Up Otherwise.
