Tidbits of a journey... : Always Remember
http://michellezieg.blogspot.com/2013/01/always-remember.html
Tidbits of a journey. Wednesday, January 2, 2013. One of the hardest things about a new year. The passing of more time. Is the fear of forgetting. I feel as though so many things are already hard to remember. What did he smell like? What did his laugh sound like? What did he feel like? I wish I could run my fingers through his little curls. Cuddle him for hours. Today I try to remember. Wishing I could buy a cake. Plan a party and have presents to rip open. But instead Im just missing him. I'm just a wif...

Thoughts and stories from a Mom, a Wife and a Woman on Mission for God. He is My Refuge! Praying through this today! Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High. Will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress,. My God, in whom I trust.”. Surely he will save you. From the fowler’s snare. And from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers,. And under his wings you will find refuge;. His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

Tricia Kaye's Blog: Masi Fire
http://triciakaye.blogspot.com/2011/05/masi-fire.html
Thoughts and stories from a Mom, a Wife and a Woman on Mission for God. What a week we have had! The fire started in the middle of the night and when we got in at 9am the people were already clearing their site and starting to rebuild. Even the kids lent a helping hand! Each day there was more progress! By the end of the week many shacks were rebuilt and people were trying to replace the things they lost from donations the community was providing. Thoughts and stories from a Mom, a Wife and a Woman on Mission for God. One of my friends, Sarah Prince. That works in Ocean View (a coloured township) got some of the ladies she works with to come in a pray for some single moms in Masi (the township I work in). It was a powerful time of prayer and song and I felt so honored to be apart of this divine moment with these ladies. The visit took place in the dark and the shacks had no working electritiy. Fun With My VC kids. Stolen Post: Storying in Masi.

Tidbits of a journey... : November 2011
http://michellezieg.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Tidbits of a journey. Sunday, November 20, 2011. Thankful to be Confronted. One of the things I am so thankful for is Dr. West. Several months, well almost a year ago, we were told about a local child psychologist Dr. West. He is in high demand and hard to get in with but is excellent with kids. Though we waited a while for an appointment it was worth it ten times over! So this particular appointment was set aside for just us. Before he was even finished talking the tears began to flow. Here is this ...
