English 9H Period 2. Friday, June 3, 2016. Found Poem- Emily W. This is my Found Poem, which I created by piecing together excerpts from the book Counting by 7s. The title of the poem is "A New Beginning," and my goal for the piece was to make the poem flow nicely from line to line. I would like to improve the piece by making it longer. Meaning has been drained from my life. I want to turn off the sun and live in darkness. It is what it is. I am what I am. Life is just one big trek across a minefield.
