The Union forces, under Grant, had won victories in the West and were threatening Vicksburg on the Mississippi River at the moment Lee crossed his army into Pennsylvania. I had a doctor's appointment a couple of weeks ago and my belly is measuring at 32 cm, which means this baby is measuring about 2 - 4 weeks bigger than average.
