My name is Margaret Kay - I got my first Yorkie in 1981 - Oose, and since then I have been absolutely hooked on those wee dogs with the big personalities. In 2005 The Kennel Club introduced the Accredited Breeder Scheme. The Kennel Club were anxious that breeders did just not sell on pups and then forget about them but were prepared to offer guarantees on health and be there to support new owners with help and advice throughout the pup's life.
