The city is a lot more user friendly than Jo'burg and has a great feel. Beautiful backdrop (the Table Mountains) plus the great coastline and the much more relaxed vibe. Firstly the household where I'm staying is great. 'the Martins' are exceptionally warm and its one BIG family - there are 8 otehr volunteers staying there: a really cool mix from Holland, Denmark, Germany and at least 8 from a very large South African family. Sonntag, 24. Mai 2015. Letzten Sonntag war der siebzehnte Mai, also der Tag an dem Norwegen vor 201 Jahren sein eigenes Grundgesetz bekommen hat. Bis heute wird der Tag gefeiert, mit Paraden, vielen Reden und gutem Essen. Die Stimmung ist einzigartig und alle Norweger sind ein kleines bisschen fröhlicher als sonst. Ich hatte mich sehr auf diesen Tag gefreut. Ich freue mich wirklich für euch alle 15/16er die die Chance haben das nächstes Jahr zu erleben! Parade in der Stadt. Wir spielen am Nachmittag.
