the ayars affairs: Join the Legacy
http://mshaiti.blogspot.com/p/since-1967-emmaus-biblical-seminary-has.html
Bob and Launa Petruccio. Jim and Sheila Zimmerman. Since 1967, Emmaus Biblical Seminary has existed to develop Christ-like leaders for the spiritual transformation of Haiti. Today, this means that 70 Haitian men and women, most already in full-time ministry throughout Haiti, are empowered by Emmaus- fed and cared for, trained and discipled, equipped, commissioned, partnered and sent out, lights in a very dark world. http://mshaiti.blogspot.com/p/join-ebs.html
We need your help. As we live and teach and share and give,. We are blessed beyond words to have many holding our ropes. We are so dependent upon Christ to provide for our family,. And He continues to use YOU. If you feel passionate, blessed, and led by the Lord. To join our family, we need you! Emmaus needs your help, too. An envelope that makes it possible for them to feed, protect, instruct, equip, empower and serve their families, their children, in a land where few can. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

the ayars affairs: haiti
http://mshaiti.blogspot.com/p/haiti-home.html
Haiti is a beautiful place. We continue to be stunned after eight years of how perseverant, how creative, how open and how anxious to be your friend Haiti is. She has seen many a dark day and has claimed many a dark master, but, from the first moment of creation until now, we believe Haiti to be His. Yeah, she may not be a lot to look at. The world might not have much need or much desire or much use for a place like Haiti. Stick around for a while and you'll see for yourself: Haiti is a beautiful place.

the ayars affairs: we like to move it, move it.
http://mshaiti.blogspot.com/2015/08/we-like-to-move-it-move-it.html
We like to move it, move it. I can't imagine such a long road-trip with a 6,4,1 and 5-day-old going any better. I'm not saying there was no screaming. But it wasn't Lisa or I :) So, success! There was also an awful lot of giggling and fun, dance parties and special stops, and after leaving at 8:30 am, we arrived in Philly at 10 pm. The highlight was spending three or four hours with great-grandma in the middle. Nora quite loved staring Grandma down and showing her her toes. View my complete profile.

the ayars affairs: it's here!
http://mshaiti.blogspot.com/2015/08/its-here.html
And suddenly August 9th is. tomorrow. Incredibly hard to believe. Everything- we think- is ready, and a very long day ahead is planned out, packed for and prepared. We met Uncle Don, Aunt Brenda, Galen, Linda and Junior for dinner. Sofie took about 100 pictures on my phone, but I loved these. The girls were overjoyed to be with Uncle June again. Overjoyed. And asking for home. Don and Brenda saw their baby girl off on her honeymoon.it's a big ole weekend for them, too. Beautiful things, tomorrow. The vie...

the ayars affairs: lego land
http://mshaiti.blogspot.com/2015/05/lego-land.html
These days have been full of pink and playgrounds, snacks and story time, schooling and baths and boogies and patience and creativity. What a shift for me, coming from our life, to be forced to let go of what I'm going to accomplish, how much I need to get done today, who all I need to reach and get back to and find time for, and instead have these three. In other ways, it is such a challenge. What a calling, this parenting thing.what a joy and challenge. How thankful I am to have these days to l...Minis...

the ayars affairs: When You Have to Wash Seven Times
http://mshaiti.blogspot.com/2015/06/when-you-have-to-wash-seven-times.html
When You Have to Wash Seven Times. When You Have to Wash Seven Times. JUNE 25, 2015. I was a city girl dropped suddenly into the jungle. It was 2013, the hardest year of my life. Our family of four had packed up and moved to Papua New Guinea and the transition hadn’t gone smoothly. I found myself in a culture that celebrated men and extroverts, of which I am neither. And my husband excelled in language and culture learning, while I was much slower. My energy had largely been focused on caring for my chil...

the ayars affairs: Slow Down.
http://mshaiti.blogspot.com/2015/05/slow-down.html
Well, we're missing Matt something awful, of course, and so I'm stalking his blog. Here's one of his latest posts, SLOW DOWN. Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. It is really hard for me to slow down. For whatever reason, I’m constantly thinking, moving, teaching, preaching, working, and doing everything. MO), but it has consumed me. It has largely become, well, who I am. 8221; so my habit told me. In light all of thi...

the ayars affairs: Help!
http://mshaiti.blogspot.com/p/meet.html
As William Carey set out for the mission field of India in 1792, he was ready to face the unknown, ready to preach, ready to obey, ready to go, ready to die. I will go down". He reportedly said to his brothers,. If you will hold my ropes.". We have nineteen new students in our first year class, many of them on the front-lines of full time ministry here in Haiti, and they need rope-holders. To find out more, to select a student, or with any questions! During the end of my high school, there was so much pr...

the ayars affairs: sacred
http://mshaiti.blogspot.com/2015/08/sacred.html
I am too drop-dead weary to share much, and still too excited about tonight to not share anything. If you weren't there, I wish you had been, truly. If you were there, I'm so incredibly grateful for the chance to have worshipped with you and met so many of you and to have been surrounded by such family. I'll share lots tomorrow, but for now. Pretty surreal that the four of ours, "wouldn't it be cool to do a benefit concert? Dream over breakfast before Christmas last year HAPPENED tonight. Bex on the move.
