A little blog dedicated to Dylan Francesco, born January 11, 2008. Monday, December 5, 2011. It looks like Dylan will have a little brother. Considering I will have a scheduled C-section sometime around week 38 (the week of April 16), I am halfway there! Everything went well with the ultrasound (pic below! And the baby is doing just great. I'm already feeling him bounce around like a little tadpole. We are very excited! Above a (grainy) 3D image and below a profile view. In the hospital nursery when I wore this outfit, the old lady volunteers called me "Carnevale" because they said my polka dots looked like Carnival confetti. Check me out! It's my first Carnevale but I'm too little this year to get dressed up, throw confetti or spray people with silly string. Maybe next year.And, anyway, in Milan, Fat Thursday is the big day! A little blog dedicated to Dylan Francesco, born January 11, 2008. Friday, April 22, 2011. Dylan will be riding into town on his new suitcase. At least we hope this is how he's going to "roll" (literally) through the airports because mom is not going to be able to carry him and the luggage as well. Saturday, March 26, 2011. Josie G. is a hair twirler. It's gotten progressively worse and I find myself cutting knots out of her hair a few times a week. The other day, she twirled her hair so tightly around her finger that her teacher said it was cutting off her circulation. She had to cut the hair off to get her finger free. We're headed back to Ohio for good on October 20. I am so so SO sad to leave our little village on the sound but super duper excited to be near (most of) our family and friends. Thursday, September 1, 2011. Josie G. is THREE! Okay I am a little behind but since we just got our power back last night, I think I'm doing a pretty good job. Josie celebrated her third birthday on Tuesday in style. She started the day with power outage birthday goodies - a Garfield Happy Birthday balloon (one of the few left at the Stop n Shop) and "birthday milk," which was basically the only milk they had on hand at Starbucks that morning - vanilla flavored. 0 of you people had a comment.:.

Monday, February 28, 2011. Happy 2-1/2.kind of. Today is the closest Josie G. will be to 2-1/2. Since her birthday is on August 30th, her mid-year milestone will never occur for her entire life as February only has 28 days. What a bummer! So we're celebrating half birthdays on the 28th. That's all there is to it. In honor of our BIG girl, here's a study in contrast of Josie and her Exersaucer, which she's been fascinated with again lately for some reason. Her head in her Exersaucer. Our kid's a genius.
