Pacific Coast Beach Bumming. Middot; October 22, 2012. I left Grananda and headed for the Pacific Coast. After a short white knuckled jont on the Pan American Highway I navigated about 50 miles of dirt roads before reaching Playa Gigante. Gigante is an undeveloped and uncrowded beach known for great surf and a very slow pace. It was a nice change from Granada. The dirt road to the Pacific. The Nicas love baseball, I passed a few local games being played as I made my way to the coast. San Juan Del Sur.
