https://bakeaholics.wordpress.com/2013/12/19/halloween-and-birthdays-at-work
Baby shower times two. Halloween and birthdays at work. On: December 19, 2013. I found a picture of a 3 tier cake that had some fun colors and shadow cutouts, so using that as my inspiration – I came up with a single tier version (we don’t have THAT many employees for a cake that big! And because it’s a birthday cake… I thought I’d try sculpting a birthday Frankenstein’s Monster. Cake in progress, me mostly having fun making little ghosts. And the final cake! Halloween and birthdays at work. Baby shower times two. On: December 13, 2013. In: Cake questions/lessons learned. Time for another baby shower, only this time there was a need for two cakes! The first one matches the save the date invite that was sent. Cake: spice cake with cream cheese frosting. Lesson learned: cream cheese frosting doesn’t work well when going under fondant. The second cake matched the shower invitations – for this little boy it was all about rockets! Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

On: December 31, 2013. This December, I apparently decided that making cupcakes and cakes wasn’t good enough. Instead I opted to make cookies, brownies, more cookies… and did I mention some cookies? Starting off with gingerbread cookies with a Peppermint Kahlua frosting. Needless to say this has been a holiday of cookies… I think I’m ready to return to cupcakes. Or maybe muffins. Bakeaholic Mama
Today's blog post is a little bittersweet. but mostly sweet. I am officially announcing the end of Bakeaholic Mama, and the beginning of a new venture. That night was the start of Granite State Donuts LLC. I went to work reading everything I needed to plus some on what I needed to do in order to start a donut shop/cafe. I talked to friends who are also restaurant owners, got as much advice as I could and then wrote our business plan. I am proud to say that Granite State Donuts LLC is opening up it's firs...

It is pretty much a chocolate waffle. I might put some pictures on later. Here are the instructions (you have to cook them in a waffle iron). 1/2 C butter or margarine, melted. 4 1/2 tsp. baking cocoa. I like to put powdered sugar on my turtle cookies. I got this recipe from the website the taste of home. 2 slices of bread.
My Random Thoughts | Anything that catches my interest…
Anything that catches my interest…. Food critic in the making! So after starting my new hobby of learning Maltese a trend has developed of going out for dinner in the melbourne CBD. This has given me the idea to maybe use my blog for what I created it for but in a different way. Rather then just commenting on the one place, once a week…. August 16, 2014. July 15, 2014. July 12, 2014. Just a quick update…. So these four photos kind of explain Indy’s and my mood. It’s cold and raining outsi...July 11, 2014.
