Sunday, July 18, 2010. The end of the headaches. While I've been forbidden by my place of employment from writing on this blog, I'm going to risk telling you all how my four years of headaches came to an end. I tried many things, each year trying a different alternative medicine. In 2010 I tried chiropractors. In mid-February 2010 I started tapering off of the narcotic I had been taking for three years for the pain. At the end of May I took my last dose. Since February I haven't had a bad headache.

For the folically challenged. Tuesday, September 02, 2008. My Journey to the Washington D.C. DMV. This morning I went to the DC DMV to finally get my local license. Given that I've been here since the new year, it's probably time. I went to the “nearest” one. I work at 4th and D, and they have one at 3rd and C (right across the street) from one of the doors to my building. So I get sent to the next nearest one – 95 M street SW. So I trek over to Georgetown in rush hour (so much for getting there early).
