Hale in a Handbasket. Monday, September 16, 2013. Avoiding the very appearance. Yesterday I cut some cucumbers to mix with red onion and red wine vinegar. I didn't have enough vinegar, so I borrowed some from my mother-in-law's kitchen. One of these pictures is of my vinegar, the other is the view of her vinegar which was faced on her whirl-i-gig in her kitchen. This is the bottle one would find in my pantry. This is the bottle from Gma's Pantry. Empty vinegar bottle in a place of honor. Why, look at that.

Hale in a Handbasket. Tuesday, July 27, 2010. This is my kids favorite climbing tree. It is in Grandma and Grandpa's front yard. It was a beautiful maple tree until it got a disease and started dying limb by limb. Levi, Adam, Ben, Nathan and Kinsey - the last climb in the maple tree. Grandma and Grandpa are getting their house ready to sale, so they can move with us into the new house we designed together. The tree had to go. Levi decided he deserved a little rest. Jordan . Laura . Lucy. Monday, September 23, 2013. After a couple of days in Portland, we hopped back in the car and finished the drive to Vancouver. I love going to visit my family there. We always stay with my grandparents. My Grandpa Ursaki is the cutest. He loves babies. He called Charlie, "Rusty". Grandma loved the kids too. Adam is Charlie's second cousin. They are just two months apart. Charlie's first time on a swing. The scenery along the Sea to Sky Highway is some of the prettiest I've ever seen.

Lucy is old enough now that she gets excited for holidays, and so it was fun to celebrate with her. The night before we made some sugar cookies as a family. He also got me a pretty bouquet of flowers and some Lindor Lindt truffles. Peter Pan finally came out of the Disney vault, so we surprised Lucy with it. Monday, February 4, 2013. Check out this diaper cake that my friend, Karla, made. Crazy, right? As stated previously, Charlie does a lot of sleeping. And pooping. This is the result of a particularly crazy diaper change. He loves his bath! Jordan's mom went home on the Thursday before conference. It was so wonderful to have her here!

He is very communicative and coos and goos to let me know what he wants. While Lucy was a tiny little peanut who couldn't make it on the growth charts, Charlie represents the other end of the spectrum. At his two month appointment he weighed a whopping 14 lbs 2.5 oz!
