All in the family. Monday, November 27, 2006. I made a terrific and healthy carrot soup from the Silver Palate cookbook and wanted to share, make it and you won't be dissapointed! CARROT AND ORANGE SOUP. 2 cups finely chopped yellow onion. 12 large carrots, peeled and chopped. 4 cups of chicken stock. 1 cup of fresh orange juice. Grated orange zest to taste. All in the family. Tuesday, July 25, 2006. Where oh where has my little dog gone? Oh, where oh where can he be? Poor Pepper. The kennel that we boarded him at convinced us to get him groomed (at half price) since his fur was so matted and gross (and it was- I recently tried to fix some of it and ended up cutting off huge matted balls fo fur, and eventually gave up since it was so bad). Here's the ass burn part. I get paid $12 per day. Woo-hoo! I don't mind being on a jury, but I think it is almost an insult to get paid $12 bucks per day.
