Thursday, June 5, 2014. Finishing First Grade in an Awesome Way. This is what a combination of hard-working and awesomeness looks like. But his kindergarten teacher was so encouraging. She spoke with him that morning one year ago and told him that she knew he could do it next year, and that he should work really hard and that she would be encouraging him on. She told him that she would watch for him throughout the year and that she wanted to see him on the stage at the end of first grade. Today, he won.

Oh, sweet boy, you are the spunky light of our family. Hamming it up for any camera. Playing with your siblings. Singing in the car. Drumming on any flat surface. Running everywhere you want to go. A good cuddle - anytime, anywhere. Things you don't love:. Being forced to do anything you don't want to do. Even the thought of getting lost.

Friday, April 25, 2014. Just Your Average Friday. It's Trike-a-Thon time at Preschool again! This is Liam's last year participating, so the event was a little bittersweet. He decided that he did not want to ride his bike this year, but instead he wanted to use his scooter. So he did. In Micah's first Trike-a-Thon, he pushed a bubble mower instead of riding a bike, so it's only fitting that Liam deviate from the norm in his last one. He's ready to go! And Vivi was excited just because they were excited!
