Tuesday, 24 August 2010. This morning I ran an hour-long seminar for Youth Business Malawi (YBM) clients on the importance of knowing your customers. Sadly there weren't many of them there (around 8-9), but they seemed to find it quite interesting, although getting them to interact was a bit like blood from a stone at first, but eventually they opened up. Wednesday, 25 August 2010. As I got back to the office from the AXA coach station, I saw lots of very proud young people walking out from the Polytechnic having received their degrees from the President. They were all wearing the traditional academic gowns and mortar boards, and looked great. I said "congratulations" to each one I saw, which seemed to go down quite well. Nice flowers, too. Saturday, 7 August 2010. Top of the World. Natasa in Zomba market. Today, Nataša and I headed off to Zomba and the plateau. It's an enormous chunk of rock that has stupendous views out across the plains towards Mozambique. Youth Strategy 2014 - 2017. On the 4 November, during Youth Work Week 2014, the 5th Youth Strategy for South Lanarkshire was launched at the Rutherglen Town Hall. After engaging more that 1,700 people in it's creation, South Lanarkshire Youth Council took everyone through the successes of the previous strategy and what to expect in this new Youth Strategy.
