When we re-did the kitchen Christa decided she wanted an island with pendant lights over it. My dad was so kind to help us with our lighting and we couldn't have done it without him. I went back through all my old blog posts and realized how much I enjoy looking back at the things we have done and seeing pictures of my beautiful babies. And We Sailed On. Tuesday, July 21, 2015. The fourth of July this year was the first time since we have been married that we have been out of town for the 4th and the first time in my life we didn't see fireworks! It was fun and different. Christian and Savanna both rode in the kids rodeo and were able to ride on cows and I had no idea that they would buck like that! It was amazing. We enjoyed the small town parade and mini ice cream cones for breakfast! And We Sailed On. Weekly family photo project.

I am at a stale-mate with my quilt. I began quilting yesterday (quilting from a sewing machine can be quite difficult), and it seems as though the machine has temporarily defeated me. It decided to mess up the stitches and colors of thread, so the brown shows through on the cream and the cream shows through on the brown. Yes, I know you don't know what that means. I'm defeated for now, but I'll begin anew tomorrow. One the bright side, I am QUILTING it! Wish me luck for tomorrow! View my complete profile.

I think the girls would have slept in the garage with them if I'd let them. They tried to beg me to bring one home but that was NOT going to happen. They were cute. but NO WAY!
