Wednesday, July 23, 2014. It was so nice to fly up for the Fourth and to be pulling in time for second breakfast, instead of just trolling past Pocatello. Turtles. They LOVE their lifejackets. Yay boat safety! Ellie's first tubing adventure without a parent! She did not move for the entire ride - arms of steel that girl. Matching aprons. A lovely gift from Aunt Lori. Playtime. These kids did work with all of Shooshoo's fun toys! And Lottie squishing an ant. Poor guy didn't have a chance. And so it goes.

Sunday, January 31, 2010. I hope there's room enough in my head for all of this new stuff! Well, I've just started piano lessons and tutoring sessions so that I can pass my praxis on June 12th! Yeah, so I can do laundry and prep my lessons for next week - and have a piano lesson on Friday afternoon! Monday, March 28, 2011. My new favorite show! Our first night in Vegas we went to see the Blue Man Group. What fun! These guys don't ever say a word, but they are funny! And they are GREAT percussionists! And at the 'meet and greet' after the show, they still don't say a word, but they just stare at you! It's a little creepy, but LOTS of fun! Wednesday, September 11, 2013. This is not the most flattering picture of me. I had just finished my workout and was taking a moment to sit with my kiddos. They both fell asleep on me in a matter of minutes and I was left quietly thinking about my blessings. I was overwhelmed with the love I felt for these kids. I realized how much I will miss this, and how moments like these will not last forever. My kids are growing up. It's killing me a little bit. Somedays it kills me a lot. Today, it was a lot.
