Wednesday, November 26, 2008. This year as a family we decided to focus on traditions and memories for Christmas instead of a lot of presents. So here is our first memory. We have spent two weeks planning and building a gingerbread house to donate to the gateway for humanity. Sorry this picture is not rotated. There and Back Again. The tale of our family adventures from today onward. Saturday, April 7, 2012. Last Sunday, Brian and I got out the bowls for breakfast. The rest was entirely Brian's idea. So we put two twinkies into each, put out a big bowl of candy, had various other sweets set on the table, and then called in the kids. Their eyes got big as we announced that "Today is candy day! You can eat as much candy as you want, whenever you want, and we won't tell you no! That's what I dreamed about!

Friday, July 17, 2009. Since I'm here I'll get some kid pics out there. Here is Vance doing what he does best, making a mess out of whatever is closest to him. This started out as a clean and harmless chocolate chip cookie. He is very aware that he's worked his magic on it. Pictures really make kids look older. Obviously Joel is much cleaner than his brother and only ended up with a French mustache. Yeah, we like gadgets in our family. I wish I could do those things year round. You guys are lucky!

Wednesday, December 3, 2008. Since everyone else is doing it. It turned out to be a great trip. We stayed with Becky and Steve (my Aunt and Uncle) and their 5 kids over the holidays. I know it must have been a strain on them to have 4 more people living in their house but they were great hosts and our boys absolutely loved playing with their cousins. Vance with his cousin Kaden.
