Thursday, January 1, 2009. It feels great to be home as one big family! The trip was tough but smooth. Henry is already a great big brother. Welcome Home fellow Gao family. As you know the adventure is only beginning. IMHO our Gao girls are beautiful, bold, brave and the best. Tuesday, July 22, 2008. We received our Pre-Approval from China today! We were told that from the time we turned in our Letter of Intent (7/11/08) until we received or PA (pre-approval) would be anywhere from 2 - 10 weeks. We received it in 1 1/2 weeks! At this point, we figure we will travel anytime between Thanksgiving and the beginning of January 2009. How will we ever be able to wait that long knowing that our daughter is somewhere on the other side of the world in an orphanage! Monday, July 21, 2008.

Last night they all met at Fridays for dinner with thier newest family members and they took one extra kid from the orphanage with them! Beth, who is in Ukraine right now, got on the "elf yourself" website and put in faces of four of the girls from the orphanage and the orphanage director. She sent it to me and it was hysterical.
