Newberry, Party of 6. Wednesday, August 13, 2014. Can I Change the World? Yesterday I was sitting in one of two black rolling chairs that live in our box shaped office. In the other rolling chair sat my 9 year old son, finger plucking away at the keyboard of our desk top computer. He was finishing up his final project for his school's Summer Challenge. I was scrolling through my emails on my phone when he paused and looked over at me. Mom, Do you think I can change the world? I replied, without hesitation.

Newberry, Party of 6. Saturday, May 31, 2014. A Touch of Crazy. 12 weeks (and some days) home now! We have now settled into a Summer routine, so that has been helpful. I have gone all "mean-mom" on the kids and made a rule that there are no electronics before lunch. Somehow they have managed. :) Our mornings have been full of reading, playing with legos, playing games, playing outside, going to the pool, and playing with the dog. Wait.a dog? How cool is that? We have our hard moments and we have our mome...
