Through the winter months Adventurous Experiences run the Junior Kayak School, an indoor course which fits into the British Canoe Union (BCU) system. Certificated Paddle Power and Cross Stream Challenge Awards (when students are suitable ready), are delivered as part of program. Our students will be progressing out onto the sea this summer and we look forward to continue to use Celtic paddles as part of that experience.

Bueno, esta entrada, en realidad es anterior al rock hoppiung previo por los islotes de Merenálvarez, ahora os cuento. Como es habitual, salí de la playa de Llumeres, y pese a los casi 2 mts de mar de fondo, la playa permanecia abrigada al oleaje, por lo que embarque desde la misma playa, y no desde la rampa. Al fondo Cabo Peñas.

Sunday, 2 January 2011. Esther arrived with her Romany and pulled up behind us on the slipway. We had a team talk and made noises about it being a good way to start the new year, it's not that bad and what else would we be doing on a cold wet miserable Sunday in January? With the wind to drop to a F3-4 by mid afternoon. OK then, let's do it. It was hard to believe that only five days earlier it had been a spring-like 11°C with almost wall to wall sun.
