Sunday, February 21, 2010. Veg, Veggie, Vegetarian. Well, our week of vegetarianism starts tomorrow (technically) but we began the experiment today at 1:30pm (after we had delicious Greek Gyros for lunch. with diet coke. one last kick before the ban.). But I just finished a couple hours of cooking and have come up with a Carrot and Onion Quiche and a new recipe I made up - Black Bean Cheese Enchiladas. Recipes will follow at the end of this post! Here is our plan for the week:. L - Carrot and Onion Quiche.

Monday, June 13, 2011. More savings to pile up. I have a couple savings to get caught up on! Clint got a haircut last week and used a coupon to cut the savings in half! Quest: trim my hubby's locks. Purchase: $14 haircut plus tip. Savings: $7 off coupon. Then, we did another Whataburger "end of the receipt" coupon:. 264 tax = $2.86. Remember a while back when I bought a package of reusable/washable breast pads to get free shipping? Well, using them has already saved me 1 box of disposables!

Saturday, July 16, 2011. Let's get ready for. Got some more that catch up. A couple weeks ago we took Clint's family out to dinner after church. 'Ol South in downtown Fort Worth offers a 20% off your entire bill if you show them that you checked into Yelp while at their restaurant. Quest: Enjoy dinner with family. Purchases: dinner for 5. Savings: 20% off the total bill = $8 and change (I don't remember the cents part so I'll just count the $8 to be safe). TOTAL SAVINGS: $22.05. Progress so far: 27.5%.

Wednesday, August 7, 2013. Harrison got to ride his firetruck in the neighborhood 4th of July Parade! And won a prize for the coolest dude on 4 wheels =). Harrison and Hudson got a great show of fireworks that ended with mommy nursing in public and harrison with ants in his pants.fun times. We met the Trotti family at Grapevine Mills Outlet mall for a day of shopping.it was great to visit but we learned online shopping is definitely the way to go! Clint, Kendal, Judith, and my Mom situated themselves about 100 feet before the finish line, and I got to see them cheering for me like crazy right before I finished. (Which totally made me cry.)
