First of all, I would like to say that I am very impressed with so many of you so far. Recipes, commitment, research, questions! Is the person tied to something somehow or do they have a biased reason to defend one perspective to the death? If you look for set dates to pig out, this too may even be the wrong approach because in some way it is saying, “I am sacrificing, so i’ll hang in until some set date then O.D. on shit! Like my man Mike G. last night! Much of which is probably repetitive, but whatever!

Do you want to comment? Kale Caesar – Recipe adapted from Tartine Bread (Chronicle Books). Yield: 6 to 8 generous servings. Croutons (can obviously be left out):. Four 1 inch slices day old country bread, torn into 1 inch pieces. 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil. Teaspoon herbes de Provence (optional). 3 garlic cloves (freshly minced or from a jar of minced). 6 olive oil packed anchovy fillets (or 1 2 Tbsp of anchovy paste). 1 tablespoon lemon zest. 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, plus more to taste.

There is not much new to this week, but we will continue to come down from our sugar addiction and now include a few must eats. So you cannot eat or consume: Snacks, chips, cookies, chocolate milk, pretzels, candy, juice, soda, cakes and gatorade! Remember, I may not have listed it here, but anything that is horrible is out….including pies, donuts, and fast food. Starchy carbs are still limited to one a day so you can have only one of either: pasta, cereal, oats, bread, potatoes, or rice. You now must eat.

If you feel hungry…. I promise, you will feel amazing! Fat and protein release chemicals that make you feel full and keep blood sugar constant. Carbs do not….hence you need to eat every 3 hours or you lose focus, blood sugar drops, and you get into a bad mood. I will warn you though…if your approach is that this is some short term sacrifice to lose a few pounds, than you will fail. If you see it as an adjustment into a new approach to eating and health, you will succeed. Diets fail! This is not a diet!

10 oz of Coffee with Milk and Stevia. I cooked them in a small amount of butter. Just enough to cover bottom of pan. I use butter because it is less likely to oxidize at high temperatures.). 2 Mercola multi vitamins. 1 organic small apple. 1 tspn of Carlson’s Cod liver oil. 12oz of Coffee with Milk and Stevia. Spring Mix, Walnuts, Goat Cheese with Balsamic Vinegar and Olive oil. Followed this meal with Green tea blended with a Tbsn of Coconut oil. This was a first! Banana with 2 -3 Tbsn of Almond Butter.
