Last time I did this was Feb 2011 and apparently I recorded 27 at that time. I must have been lying. Or only hitting the 8 foot target. Regardless, this WOD owned my ass. Just another mom who wants it all. I’ve been an athlete (or at least athletic) most of my life but slacked off big time after having my daughter in April 2009. In January 2010, I was introduced to Crossfit and haven’t stepped foot in a Golds Gym since. Just another mom who wants it all. March 17 →. March 16, 2012. Deadlift (80%-85%-90% of your 1RM). 9 Hang Power Clean (155/115). 6 Split Jerk (155/115). Deadlifts felt good today; I stopped as soon as I felt a pull in my back. The metcon was….really challenging. Yet another hero workout that looks easier on paper than in practice. I wasn’t really watching the clock but I think I came in somewhere around 13 minutes. Ended up taking some unexpected time off. Well played, pink eye. March 17 →.
