Thursday, March 20, 2014. For this series I am still trying to perfect the Richard Avedon's style. His style usually consists of portrait pictures with a minimal background. Additionally the subject always expresses real emotion instead of the "say cheese" type of picture. Thursday, March 13, 2014. Thursday, March 6, 2014. Series draft 2: Avedon. For this series I tried to capture other emotions besides sad while keeping the expression unposed and natural. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
drew photo max: spring series (final)
http://drewphotomax.blogspot.com/2014/05/spring-series-final.html
Thursday, May 22, 2014. For this series I tried to create flow throughout each image. That means that each photo has more then one subject connecting different points of the photo eventually bringing the viewers eyes back to the original subject. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Thursday, May 29, 2014. Thursday, May 22, 2014. Thursday, May 15, 2014. In this set I tried to incorporate elements from other people work, such as reflection and leading lines into an Atget based theme. In other words, it means that everything is based on architecture and Victorian style buildings. Thursday, May 8, 2014. In this series, I tried incorporating different styles into Atget basedphotos. Drew photo Joe: February 2014
http://drewphotojoe.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 27, 2014. In this assignment we were able to choose what we wanted to photograph. I chose Microworlds because it was fun to photograph and it was in a controlled environment. For the most part, i kept my subject in the center of the photo to make it easy to see. I chose either color or black and white for the photos depending on what made it look more believable. Drew photo Joe: Group photos first six
http://drewphotojoe.blogspot.com/2014/04/group-photos-first-six.html
Thursday, April 3, 2014. Group photos first six. In this assignment we had to take pictures of our peers while using the same style that they seemed to use throughout the year. Corts photos had a stalker vibe to them. Large differences in contrast are apparent in his photos as well as interesting angles they are taken from. Isaiah's photos had a streety feel to them and had a large amounts of shadows. Symmetry is also commonly seen in his photos. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Group photos part 2.
Drew photo Joe: Microworlds Draft 4
http://drewphotojoe.blogspot.com/2014/03/microworlds-draft-4.html
Thursday, March 20, 2014. In this assignment I focused on creating a story with my characters in real-world environments. Before I tended to make staged set-ups for the toys to be in but this time I decided to combine the story telling technique with a setting that makes them interact with real-sized objects. March 20, 2014 at 9:57 AM. I really like your second photo, they all seem very real. My only real gripe is the last one, how the mans head is cut out. I also really like the third photo. Its really ...

Monday, May 17, 2010. Thursday, May 13, 2010. My People."what do you mean, your people? I thought long and hard about choosing which picture I have in mind for commemorating Spencer for his great achievements. After fourteen days in the cold winter snow, I finally chose his picture called; “untitled” represents Spencer’s uncanny wit, and unmatched creativity in the photographic realm. For her visual voice. This black and white vertical picture accentuates all of his facilities towards photographs. Th...

Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Extra Credit - Emoji. While these are not on the Unicode most requested list, I thought it would be fun to try and edit flowers from my cohesive series. I chose the first photo because it already had a darker background, and I those the second because I wanted to see how I could edit it in PicMonkey. Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Macro Photo Part Three. These photos are my playing around with the micro setting and editing. Macro Photo Post Part Two. Tuesday, May 12, 2015.

Monday, March 12, 2012. For my individual project I am focusing on macro plant photography. In the following photographs I attempted to draw focus to the central plant or area and create a shallow depth of field. Throughout the series I attempted to use water or backlighting to make the pictures interesting. Sunday, March 11, 2012. The goal of this assignment was to add text to photos to enhance or change them. These use a combination of quotes and individual words to achieve that goal. Subscribe to: Pos...

Thursday, May 28, 2015. Class Portraits 2 (Final Post Ever). I took a portrait of her in a window, because I know she had done it before. It's underexposed and dark to represent the harshness dead weak exerts on all students. I did a profile portrait of her and put it on a black background. I took multiple photos of him and used Picmonkey to overlay and Warhol to recolor it. She did a project where she used the TV (Aperature Priority) mode and spun it around. Posted by Ian Itzla. Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Lian usually shoots in abstract, colorful packed shots. In most of her photos, Lian has more than one focus or subject. I took this photo of Lian because it has some dimension and is more than just the typical, straight on shot. It is also colorful and detailed, while at the same time having more than one focus. The majority of Josh's style is macro and abstract. They usually have some sort of light reflecting or focusing on the photos. I would say that my style is usually a laye...
