Drew Photo Shae: September 2016

http://drewphotoshae.blogspot.com/2016_09_01_archive.html

Wednesday, September 28, 2016. So this round was really difficult for me, specifically, balance. I was unclear what gave balance to a photo, and I am still not sure if I got it. My theme this one was the filter "Lomo" on pic monkey, and yes, I am aware that a few of my photos are over-filtered, but I decided it was best to stick to a complete theme. A photo in that has the quality of being made up of exactly similar parts facing each other or around an axis, in this case preferably across a vertical one.

I used "tint" to change the color and then I used the pencil to isolate the "tint" to one row, and then repeated each time with a new row and new color. This one was relatively simple, using a single filter called "space" and then coloring out the parts that I didn't want to be covered: namely the model. My only addition to this photo were the bubbles because I th...

Photography: JR - Final Series

http://drewphotonenuh.blogspot.com/2016/11/jr-final-series.html

Wednesday, November 30, 2016. JR - Final Series. For my final series, I used portraits that I already took and changed up the backgrounds. I took pictures around Drew and placed the portraits where I thought they would go in real life. I tried to place the facial expressions accordingly to the locations as well. 8719;I∏∆. DrewPhotoBrian: March 2016

http://drewphotobrian.blogspot.com/2016_03_01_archive.html

Friday, March 18, 2016. These images represent the best of my series of emulating Nathan Lyons. They are the best because they capture the essence of what I was going for, which were interesting urban scenes that when taken out of context present something about human expression. These include advertisements, and things human created. These also contain my strongest compositions. Wednesday, March 16, 2016. Monday, March 7, 2016. Wednesday, March 2, 2016. Drew Photo Jack: September 2014

http://drewphotojack.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html

Friday, September 26, 2014. These are Symmetrical photos. In these photos repeat themselves. The goal of the photo set was the capture something that reflected itself in the other half of the photo. This set of photos have balance. Photos with balance have the feature of repeating themselves. Each side of the photo should have some similar elements. These are asymmetrical photos. The goal of these photos is to incorporate a sense of difference between the two sides of each photo. Drew Photo Class 16/17.

I feel like some of these pictures would have been better in color but we had to use black and white. Sunday, October 2, 2016. The hardest part of this assignment for me was the balance. I tried to find photos where there were two subjects that were roughly the same size. The easiest part was symmetry.

Monday, October 10, 2016. For this third series, I finalized my focus of abstract surfaces, inspired by Aaron Siskin. I highlighted textures in this one more so than my last posts. I am overall satisfied with these photos and the whole series. These represent the culmination of my series and contain the aspects that I focused on. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
