elizabeth melanie: an unexpected errand
http://elizabethmelanie.blogspot.com/2012/08/the-most-shocking-lunch-ive-had-yet.html
Count it all joy. Friday, August 31, 2012. Her name was Yvonne. It's safe to say that my mind was not on spiritual things. I arrived, locked my doors, and walked towards the entrance to Target. "Excuse me, miss? I looked over and saw a heavy-set older black woman, about 4'11", with worn and dirty clothing, messed up teeth, hair that had gone wild, and exhaustion written all over her face. Suddenly, my problems didn't seem quite so extraordinarily cruel. Will you help me? Now, being an Aunt (well, Auntie)...
elizabeth melanie: November 2009
http://elizabethmelanie.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Count it all joy. Monday, November 30, 2009. Stuck in a car wash. literally. Brought to you by late 2009: The only post from the former site that I wanted to keep public. Stuck in a car wash:. No one else besides the two of us thought this to be particularly thrilling. Whatever. It's magic. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore. I had to get it off. The end door did not open. I idled inches away, then gently touched the door. Did they find pickles to be that bad? I find them delicious! However, the case ca...
elizabeth melanie: a smattering of guts... it gets real up in here
http://elizabethmelanie.blogspot.com/2013/02/a-smattering-of-guts-it-gets-real-up-in.html
Count it all joy. Tuesday, February 12, 2013. A smattering of guts. it gets real up in here. For the past 6 weeks I have struggled valiantly to write a deep and profound post about all of the things that have happened so far in this extraordinarily eventful year. For six weeks I’ve been reading about how faithful and good God is, and a lot of Scripture has been quoted by others and come to my mind unbidden in times of need. Bethany’s sister, Sydney. elizabeth melanie: and the worst hurts yield some of the best results
http://elizabethmelanie.blogspot.com/2013/03/and-worst-hurts-yield-some-of-best.html
Count it all joy. Friday, March 15, 2013. And the worst hurts yield some of the best results. It's a safe bet to say high school wasn't exactly my shining moment in life. This was due to combination of somewhat complicated factors, ranging from learning issues and failing grades, severe ADHD, social. ineptitude? Now, a good bit of time has passed between me and the end of that era (10 years! And I can see one thing particularly quite clearly. I'd like to share it with you. I don't know what it is to be a...
elizabeth melanie: fear of the deep
http://elizabethmelanie.blogspot.com/2015/03/fear-of-deep.html
Count it all joy. Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Fear of the deep. I'm not a particularly still and deep person. I think I'll let global warming cook it tomorrow. I must admit that there's truth to it. I am some of those things- to a degree. I double book my social calendar on occasion. I have left my purse at any number of locations. I have purchased waaaay too many things on bad impulses. (My hair thanks me and my wallet curses me. What can I say? I lead a bittersweet life.). What about the rest of us?

Living The Knight Life: Wow.......
http://livingtheknightlife.blogspot.com/2010/02/wow.html
Living The Knight Life. Wednesday, February 10, 2010. I really hope that doesn't scar him for life). Now, nothing is for sure till this little one comes out, but the nurse AND the doctor seemed extremely positive that it is, in fact, a boy. The doctor walked in and said, "So it looks like your daughter grew a penis! It doesn't matter what comes out. I will love this baby SOOOOO much! Here are the sonogram pictures. This was at 21weeks when we thought it was a girl. And this is at 37 weeks.BOY! We have be...
Sara's Pages!: discoveries of the day
http://saraspages.blogspot.com/2009/09/discoveries-of-day.html
Wednesday, September 9, 2009. Discoveries of the day. In the pursuit of feeding myself (which is not optional, but rather mandatory for living), I have come across some deficiencies in both my knowledge of what to cook, how to cook it, and the energy to do so. I also cleaned my room in anticipation of a family visit this weekend. It sparkles - in fact I can almost hear how clean it is. or it maybe just the absence of dirt allows sound to bounce around more freely. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
Sara's Pages!: kayaking
http://saraspages.blogspot.com/2009/09/kayaking.html
Tuesday, September 15, 2009. This weekend, Jon became the proud owner of a boat - a beautiful kayak with a beautiful spanish/french name, which I will not attempt to spell here. What is grand about this boat is that it can sit one or two people. For her maiden voyage, I got to be the 2nd person! We went kayaking Sunday with my dad between the naval academy bridge and the severn river bridge. It was beautiful. Him and I in the boat:. That tiny speck out in the middle of the sun there is him paddling solo.

Living The Knight Life: May 2010
http://livingtheknightlife.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Living The Knight Life. Sunday, May 16, 2010. So today I begin my journey into "going natural" with my hair. lol This may not sound like a big deal, but having never seen what my actual natural hair looks like, it was kind of scary to tell my hair dresser to "chop it off"! But that she did and here it is! My natural hair is pretty curly. Crazy, right? It's going to take a while to get used to, but I'm excited to see what will happen when it grows out. Living The Knight Life: October 2009
http://livingtheknightlife.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Living The Knight Life. Thursday, October 22, 2009. You know what I miss? Just an example of the fun : ). I miss the volleyball/soccer/basketball games where we almost ALWAYS lost, but our fans loved us anyways. I miss the nicknames (most) that we called each other. I wish "SuckFace" would go away, but I know that's here forever. lol You know what's scary? I even miss the cafeteria! They weren't always on point, but I had some good meals in that place. Pizza day? Breakfast for dinner day? It's just so pr...

Sara's Pages!: Tut - tut! It looks like LOVE!
http://saraspages.blogspot.com/2010/02/tut-tut-it-looks-like-love.html
Friday, February 5, 2010. It looks like LOVE! In case you have not heard, on January 30th the love of my life got down on his knee in a beautifully snowy day and asked me to marry him. Dad recorded the whole story on You Tube. Today I wake up just overwhelmingly excited at the prospect - no wait - the REALITY of our future together, so excited that I can't even sleep in! Living The Knight Life: September 2009
http://livingtheknightlife.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Living The Knight Life. Tuesday, September 29, 2009. So I've started to take on the task of starting our baby registry. HOLY CRAP, I don't know what I'm doing. lol There are SOOOO many choices for every freakin item! Lol There aren't just cribs. There are 4-in-1 cribs, but are they safe? Are they good quality? What about a bassinet? Do I need one? Do I go with a theme? And if I do, should I get neutral stuff so I can possibly use it again if, Lord willing, we have another child? Lol What about baby baths?
