thelowderchronicles: December 2008

http://thelowderchronicles.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

Wednesday, December 24, 2008. We started out our Christmas celebration this past weekend at Dave and Deirdre's. We had such a wonderful time. The boys were in super good spirits besides a bad couple of teething days and mom and dad forgetting to get gas drops before we left. It was funny, Ronnie is usually my mama's boy, who can't be around other people without flipping out, but this weekend he was as pleasant and happy as can be. It was a very nice surprise. Of course still a little sweet heart. The rid...

In my world...: December 2011

http://inemsworld.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

Tuesday, December 27, 2011. Random Miles Entertaining Tidbits. When asked what he wants for Christmas (a few weeks before) he said "I want a cat. But Mommy, one that doesn't talk. And I need a black one." :-) Totally random, but I love it. When we let him open a present on Christmas Eve (a tradition that my Dad started a long time ago when I was little) we chose a couple of DVDs so he could watch them that evening. His response upon opening it? He's nothing if not honest. I feel sure that God allowed him...

Welcome to TheDeadState.com! This website is dedicated to the thermodynamic analysis of perpetual motion machines. You might be asking yourself, Why would anybody want to do such a thing? Therefore one of the main goals of this site is to offer an instructive database that points out these fundamental flaws in the design of these machines. Note: This is a side project for me and the posting of my analysis of thesis machines will certainly be slow so please check back often! Middot; Powered by WordPress.

Engineering the Run

Sunday, October 17, 2010. Bishop Ireton Cardinal 5k Race Report. 27:10 (crushed my goal time). 3rd place in my age division (20-29 female). My prize was a pair of way-too-big-even-for-my-husband socks. haha. I pretty much followed my plan. Started out fast, dialed it back half-way, and I finished strong. I wish I wouldn't have slowed down so much around 2.25 miles. Overall I'm very happy, and I'll work on my stamina for next time. I'm not complaining, because something is better than nothing. Seriously p...
