The Curfew, Cleveland Place, Bath, UK. After a night running a night club, the last thing you want to do is get up and prepare and cook a large roast dinner, so a trip to the pub is not unknown. This Sunday (4th September) a group of us agreed to meet up at The Curfew in Bath. The Curfew is just past Cleveland Bridge by the London Road. I'm not sure why a roast should be served in a big bowl, but it is. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post. Post a new comment.

Llawnroc, Gorran Haven, Cornwall, UK. On Friday I headed away from the hustle and bustle of the city and drove down to Gorran Haven. On the Cornish south coast for the weekend. Of course, this meant a new place to have roast lunch on Sunday. There is only one pub in Gorran Haven itself but there is a second pub, The Barley Sheaf, in Goran a mile inland. Barley Sheaf, St Goran, Cornwall. If you visit Gorran Haven on the south Cornish coast there are two pubs nearby where you can get a sunday roast. The first is in the village of Gorran Haven itself, The Llawnroc Inn. The second is a mile up the road in the village of St Goran (and yes, only one R in St Goran, two in Gorran Haven). Vegetables are served separately and there is plenty of variety and quantity. A real treat is the cheesy leaks. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post.

The Pack Horse, Woodhouse Lane, Leeds, UK. After a long day's drive on Saturday and a long night's fun and frolics at The Wendyhouse. A Sunday Roast is the perfect hangover cure. Twelve of us set off to find a Sunday Roast near our B&B to take the edge off a good night out. We wandered into a couple of pubs before settlling on The Pack Horse. When the meal arrived there was a good amount of veggies, top notch roast potatoes and well cooked meat. Even the roast chicken got a yorkshire pud!
