Monday, 9 April 2012. Olympic Torch Relay to miss Ewenny Woods. The Olympic Torch Relay will be bypassing Ewenny Woods this year! However it will be passing through the Vale of Glamorgan and Bridgend on Saturday 26 May. At 14.43 the torchbearers will be leaving Bridgend town center and heading down Nolton Street, past the council offices, before proceeding up Bryntirion Hill to Laleston.
