Our Dog and Pony Show: Dear Charlotte
http://ourdogandponyshow.blogspot.com/2010/10/dear-charlotte.html
Our Dog and Pony Show. Saturday, October 9, 2010. My dear Charlotte,. Even though I've only known you for a few weeks, I am enamored with your soft, southern accent and with your gentile persona. I love how the morning sun shines on your face and the warmth I feel in my heart when I see you. Oh dear Charlotte, I think I'm in love. Can you tell we've been gone for a while? You all take care now. October 9, 2010 at 8:52 PM. Hi Erik and Susan. I enjoy reading about your travels. I am glad the kids have ...

Our Dog and Pony Show: Pioneers and Prospectors
http://ourdogandponyshow.blogspot.com/2011/08/pioneers-and-prospectors.html
Our Dog and Pony Show. Saturday, August 6, 2011. Coolidge, Montana was once a booming mining town. They mined silver and there was a lot of it. It was founded in the 1870's and boomed through the early nineteen hundreds. Then a series of unfortunate events, including the stock market crash of 1929 sealed its fate. Coolidge was destined to become one of Montana's many ghost towns. Seems we've taken on our own pioneer spirit. Enjoy and talk to you soon. Labels: Glacier National Park. Subscribe to: Post Com...

http://ourdogandponyshow.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Our Dog and Pony Show. Sunday, January 30, 2011. Santa Fe.in the Land of Enchantment. Life is good, as we are reminded by our travels. It has been a while since our last blog. The holidays have come and gone with only a short post from us at Christmas. Sorry 'bout that. Life has been busy for me, mostly from a busy work and training schedule, but things are starting to slow down (for the time being), and so I hope to blog a little more. So we have a lot of catching up to do! I told you we have been busy!

Our Dog and Pony Show: November 2010
http://ourdogandponyshow.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Our Dog and Pony Show. Thursday, November 18, 2010. Chick-fil-A.It's all about The Experience! Chick-fil-A is more than just a fast food chicken place, as I found out on my last day in Charlotte, NC. It's an experience. You drive up to the larger than life restaurant with it's oversize logo, park your car and walk in. You are then in sensory overload as balloons, fancy lighting, noise and smells bombard your senses. Sunset at the Hospital Clovis, NM. Still to come.how we left the motorhome behind! We're ...

Moonstruck in Montana: Wow! What a ride!
http://moonstruckinmontana.blogspot.com/2011/12/wow-what-ride.html
Wednesday, December 28, 2011. Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud. Of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! Hunter S. Thompson. Bonfire at Hotel Albert. Life these past seven months (7 months! Since my last post, I have been from here. Kayaking in Glacier or, as we like to call it, heaven. Getting my caulk on at Hotel Albert. Kayaked, rode moonlig...

Moonstruck in Montana: April 2011
http://moonstruckinmontana.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 22, 2011. Day 1 of Unrealistic Optimism. I still find it surprising that even though I do live in a motorhome, that desire to get my hands in the dirt is as strong as ever. I'm like a baby sea turtle that will not be stopped from getting his flippers in the salty sea. I must. Garden even if it means I garden contained. Not my favorite but, hey, what's a travelin' gardener to do? And decided to commit to attempt my vegetable garden in containers. Have you signed up? It's not too late! The da...

Moonstruck in Montana: Gardening Contained
http://moonstruckinmontana.blogspot.com/2010/02/gardening-contained.html
Tuesday, February 9, 2010. We had a little orchid mishap on our way home from Vegas. A couple of weekends ago. The motorhome. Took a bump just a little too fast and the landing was a bit too much for the pot containing one of my orchids. Of course this meant I was given free rein to run right over to a local garden center to replace the pot. Yippee.cough, ack. I meant, too bad, so sad. The culprit that started the whole thing, Cymbidium. Eastern Promise. (Promise of inciting riots if you ask me! Zen gard...

Moonstruck in Montana: First Day Of Spring
http://moonstruckinmontana.blogspot.com/2009/03/first-day-of-spring.html
Friday, March 20, 2009. First Day Of Spring. I knew I was in trouble when I caught myself with my nose pressed up against the glass of the local garden center wondering if I could possibly keep a hybrid tea rose alive in our rolling tin can that we now call home. Ah, how I miss my garden right now! Susan, I love the photo of you in your profile. You are looking so thin and blond! March 24, 2009 at 11:53 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Moonstruck in Montana: Cruising Home and Settling In
http://moonstruckinmontana.blogspot.com/2011/04/cruising-home-and-settling-in.html
Friday, April 15, 2011. Cruising Home and Settling In. Ahh, our feet are firmly and happily planted on Montana soil once again and we haven't stopped moving since we arrived. We've reconnected with friends and family, I've started my pastry class. More on that soon! We went and checked out the old motel we bought (that's a whole post on its own) and Erik even raced in the Rocky Mountain Roubaix. We went from this. To this. Well, hello, Dillon. Our movable sporting good store. Green grass and no stickers?
