A world on our feet……. Day 18 and way passed the half way mark. We’ve had a brilliant day off in a town called Moissac – very old, Abbey dates from 11th c and it’s still rather special, and it’s been a good day. And good food…. A world on our feet……. 5035 km down and 229.5km to go to St Jean de Pied Porte and the Spanish Camino. Sorry for the confusion when I said we’d reached half way – certainly not half way to Santiago but rather to the end of the French part of the Camino from Le Puy to St Jean. Still a long way to trudge! In Castet Arrouy we met a fellow Brit living in the village who invited us back to his house interrupting his wife watching Coronation St – she took it in good heart! The cathedral was pretty impressive.

A world on our feet……. St Jean De Pied Port – made it this far! We have made it – all way from Le Puy en Velay…… It seems like another world when we started a month ago. Besides this new part seeming like being a whole new venture, it was so very different weather wise. I was fairly amazed to walk into town today through St Jacques Porte in the pouring rain! To be sure, as with anything, some people will “get it” and others won’t and those who do have a great chance to be given more opportunity for leadership and success.
