Our experience as medical missionaries to Mbingo Baptist Hospital, Cameroon. Monday, January 12, 2015. Word of the month: harmattan. When I first heard this word, I had no idea what it meant. The harmattan is a southerly wind that blows down from the Sahara every dry season. Kinda like El Niño, but with with lots of dust and no rain. The wind carries down very fine particles of sand all the way here, making the air pretty hazy. It does make for some nice sunsets though. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Sunday, June 28, 2015. 明天就要出發，心情興奮又緊張。這次其實是我歷來最長的旅程，17天，卻完全沒有計劃，沒有Itinerary，今天直緊張得腸買不適。 收拾行李用了差不多大半天時間，光是為了帶甚麼衣服，帶多少衣服便頭痛了好久。雲南温差很大，早上及夜晚，下雨不下雨的温度往往相差十度以上。這種天氣最好是layering，短袖Tee，hoodie，gore-tex外套就最適合不過，可恨我一件hoodie也沒有，炎夏在香港也買不到hoodie的。 衣物都以舒適、快乾為主，方便途中洗衣服，結果我偷了傑的Arctyrex Tees用。反正我也不愛上鏡，穿隨便一點沒關係。 Yunnan, here I come!
