The 411 on my upcoming jaw surgery! Day 50…something or another →. June 12, 2013. So I can’t believe it’s been nearly a month since I’ve chewed real food.I mean, since I had jaw surgery! First stop was my surgeon who took off my bands! Yes that’s right I am no longer banded shut! I had no idea if he would do it or leave me for another week, but I tried to contain my excitement when it actually happened. Well another couple of months have gone by. I can't believe it has been 7 months since my surgery. So much has happened, good and bad. Mostly it all seems like a blur; where does the time go? Tuesday, August 27, 2013. This was definitely the best decision I have ever made and if I had to do it all again I would do it in a heartbeat. The surgeries are all in the past now and I'm happy for that. Though I'll admit I thought this day would never come and it happened so fast.
