The following morning turned out to be a lovely day for a drive and tramp in Mount Cook National park. We continued to be mesmerized on our journey, except this time from beauty. Although we didn’t make it to the base of Mount Cook (daylight was burning and we still had the hike return plus 2km from the trailhead back to the car) we had amazing views of Mount Cook and the stream running through the park.
