I had a message from a student saying they were struggling with writing stronger melodies. Here are a few ideas i suggested to them. Thought it would be good to share. Anyone else got any tips? 4 Choose one melodic note and don’t change it! Beneath this note try altering the chords to make the melody feel interesting (good example is Every Time We Say Goodbye).
