We flew to Denver and drove south, the opposite direction, to visit the U.S. Air Force Academy and "Garden of the Gods" in Colorado Springs. Our tour guide describing the Cathedral at the Academy. The cross, at the front of the sanctuary, is formed like an airplane wing. The pipe organ, located at the rear of the sanctuary, has over 4,300 pipes.
