Caenys Kerr, Author. Love is waiting … where you least expect it. V is for Victoria Valley. April 26, 2016. When we visited Stewart Island on this haiku journey around New Zealand, I mentioned that Cape Reinga is the northernmost point in New Zealand. The area that we are visiting today is a mere 130 kms (80 miles) south of that extremity. The map for the link to Victoria Valley Road. There is a Maori cemetery. Which doubles as a highway. Http:/ www.kaitaianz.co.nz/. And now the haiku:. Liked by 1 person.

Caenys Kerr, Author. Love is waiting … where you least expect it. W is for Waitomo Caves. April 27, 2016. New Zealand sports several well-known glowworm cave systems including one at Te Anau. On the South Island in Fiordland and the one at Waitomo in the King Country of the North Island. I’ve visited both with the family and both are spectacular in their own right. Today the focus is on Waitomo, because it’s W Day, but Te Anau and spectacular Fiordland are well worth a visit too. Recently a trail run.
