Kaitao Room 4: In the class

In room 4 the Discovery Academy we have a class of 34 students and two teachers Mrs Goldsworthy and our teacher aid Mrs Douglas. The Discovery Academy is made up of 3 class rooms, there's room 4, room 5 and there's room 6. Every academy at Kaitao has an academy leader, our academy leader is Mrs Edwards. So I think that room 4 is the best class at Kaitao. Te Houora Room 4. There was an error in this gadget. What Room 4 is working on this Term. This term Room 4 will be working on the Pacific Islands.

On the 3rd of March we went on a marae stay, Discovery went on a waka experience at the lake front, when we got there we had to split into two groups. Each waka hold's 22 people on 1 waka. Before we could hop in the waka we had to put on a life jacket and get a paddle and learn paddle moves and when we completed we got to go on the waka. When we started we hit the wall, then we got of the wall we took. Then at the end we had a race back to shore, and we won of course. Te Houora Room 4.

Room 5 Rock n Roll! The Kaitao School Swimming Competition for 2009. It was a hot Friday in week 6 when it all began.All academy's got bused off to the aquatic center after lunch for a cool day of competing in all sorts of fun swimming events.The events were aqua jogging,breast stroke,running with a ball on your head and others.First up was all of the house chants.'MORRISON S THE NAME AND WE'VE GOT THE GAME! And that's when things started to get CRAZY! Probably not many people did that though).

On wednesday room17 went to waimarino. The bus ride was long and my mum and aunty came too. My first thought of Waimarino was WOW we are the first to come here from our school. We went out in kayaks,it was fun. We had to go into a circle and we tipped shevez out of her kayak. It was really funny. We werent allowed to say COLD, FREEZING and we werent allowed to get out. Sadly at the end of term 2 whaea Amanda left room 8 .But she is coming to visit us time to time to see what we are doing and working on.She is still here at kaitao helping out the schools netball team. In week 6 Expressive Academy went to Tunohopu Marae. First a Kuia welcomed us on to the Marae. We then started walking very slowly towards the marae. Why I had choose this topic beause it is all about marbles and I am interesting about marbles.my results about the marbles was the small marble fall down on to the ramp.And the marbles stops at 12 ft and 11 inches.The 1 inch round marble dropped down the same ramp at 19 ft and 1 1/4.
