This magical location is a constant source of inspiration for my ceramic work, as well as the human form. I enjoy collecting natural materials to make impressions within clay. I use this to create abstract sculptural ceramics. I fire earthenware and stoneware paper clays to 1120°C and combine oxides and carbonates with clear glaze finishes to emphasize the detail.
