Wednesday, January 30, 2013. In the teens now. My dear dad made a great suggestion: to post the floor plan. So the clean white ones are the ones I got from houseplans.com. And the grungy yellow ones are the modifications we made. Hope you can decipher them. I love looking at plans. Now maybe you can see it all coming together a little better. Can you see it? Can you see it? IT'S CARPET ALL ROLLED UP! There is a sink in the corner you can't see here. (second pic). See that dark wall? Here's a few of the s...

So many spouses do not have a good relationship with their in-laws; I have been extremely blessed to not fall into that category. So here is my shout out. I just love...

julie in the studio: waiting for me
http://www.julieinthestudio.com/2015/01/waiting-for-me.html
Thursday, January 22, 2015. I took Nan to the Masur Museum for an artist talk tonight. The exhibit was Birney Imes' series Whispering Pines- "documenting the life and times of Blume Triplett, the late proprietor of Whispering Pines, a roadside bar and restaurant in Crawford, Mississippi." It was well worth the drive and I thought the show was both compelling and interesting. Nan enjoyed it too. When I came home, I found this text from my husband waiting for me on my phone:. January 22, 2015 at 9:51 PM.

I feel that sharing what is going on in the studio is an important element of keeping me honest. I often read other artists blogs and am fascinated by their process but always wish for a wider glimpse into. Their personal life. So I open it all up here: my busy life as a wife and a mother and how I integrate my artistic vision into all of it.
