Kitchen In Transition: February 2011
http://kitchenintransition.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 25, 2011. Have I mentioned that my friends love me? Well, if they don’t they should… it’s just logic. The food from the cafeteria gets old, fast, and that’s when my boredom and love of real food kicks in. Since I don’t want to eat it all in one sitting (because yes, I could do that) I give the majority of what I make to my friends. And they’re more than happy to take it. So like I said, my friends should love me. But it was worth it… so worth it. I made homemade pop tarts. Any filling yo...

Friday, October 21, 2011. Challah Bread French Toast. I’m not a morning person, have I mentioned that before? I probably have. You can ask anyone that knows me and they’ll agree that I’m by no means a morning person. If I had it my way waking up at 9 would be an early morning. Don’t get me wrong, I love mornings once I’m awake and out of bed. Still, when you give me the choice of waking up or staying in my warm and toasty bed for another hour or so, I’ll take the bed. If you’ve never tried challah ...
Kitchen In Transition: March 2011

Wednesday, March 30, 2011. One Bowl Chocolate Cake. This winter has been so incredibly long and drawn out that I almost feel like I don’t know what to do with myself. I keep hoping for spring, but all I get is another week of winter. So I thought that maybe if I make a recipe that is the epitome of comfort food that you want on a winter day, spring would actually come. I don’t know if this will actually work, but it’s worth a shot. This might be the easiest recipe I’ve posted on this website). I know I&#...

Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Coconut, Peanut Butter Chip, and Chocolate Chip Cookies. These cookies were anything but disastrous. KITCHEN IN THE SAND. Thursday, 19 May 2016. Spicy creamy carrot soup with carasau bread. Kitchen in Transition
July 22, 2015. Unless the yolk is super runny I can barely stomach to eat eggs, which makes scrambled eggs almost impossible for me to eat (I blame egg whites). So when I make something with eggs in it that I can not only finish, but actually enjoy eating(! I get a little bit excited. That’s where this four dollar frittata comes in. I could call it a “Hot Sausage, Tomato, and Parm Frittata” but I really like the sound of “Four Dollar Frittata” instead. This post has no comments yet. April 7, 2015. Rememb...
