Since she will be here this weekend I dragged out the recipe and hope she will enjoy the surprise! 1/8 teaspoon cracked pepper. 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar. 2 quarts baby lettuce leaves, washed, dried, torn. 1 bunch green onions, sliced thin. Cook bacon until brown and crispy over low heat. Drain bacon on paper towels, then crumble. In separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, salt, pepper, and vinegar until sugar is dissolved. Note: Sometimes we add chopped boiled eggs!
