He is like a walking book. We have discovered that he has his Dad's sense of humor and loves to play practical jokes. I cannot wait to see what next year brings. Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Anyway you look at it they all equal 6. That is a pretty imporant number for us today. It is Hunter's 6th birthday today! I can remember all those special moments from the time I got the phone call to find out I was pregnant, to his delivery, the last five birthdays, his first day of preschool, and his first day of kindergarten. Monday, May 25, 2009. Happy Birthday Hayden Gerald Laney! All I can say is where has the time gone? I can remember the day he was born and today but, the rest is just a blur. Five years with my little man has flown by. I am grateful to be called his Mom. Hayden woke up this morning singing "I am 5, and it is great! I am 5 and it is great! I was so sure it would fall out in SC while the boys were there. Hunter even tried to convince us that the tooth fairy brings more money if you are out of town. He is wise! Artwork and thoughts by Larry Foster. The Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Many years ago I visited the Garden of the Gods and its striking beauty stayed in my mind. I remember that while drawing it I became so very pleasantly lost as I made the details as well as when I was drawing the overall structure of the image. As near as I can tell the rock in the painting is The Old Woman Rock. There is some good information about it on a website called Mountain Project along with more photos.
