Math Rocks #3: Goals, goals, goals. August 6, 2015. August 6, 2015. My goals for this year teaching math is to successfully implement all that I have learned as a 5th grade teacher. My campus uses the Share and Compare framework and I see my kids grow immensely from it. I have grown SO much as a teacher over the last 6 years at Sommer Elementary and want to see how I can incorporate all my new knowledge into this new grade level. Since this is my first time blogging, I should tell you a little about myself. I am beginning my 11th year as a educator. I have experience teaching third and fifth grades. I spent the last six years teaching fifth grade and am making the change back down to third this year. What I love about teaching is the kids. I love seeing their growth and how they love learning. I also love that I get a chance to grow as a leader and teacher. Every year, I get to become a better version of myself.
