Wednesday, May 31, 2006. This was Mason's second trip to Destin, FL. While he was not a fan of the beach (he didn't care for the sand or the waves), he loved the pool! He swam morning, noon, and night! He did tolerate the sand long enough for Mommy to have a little photo shoot and get some really cute pictures! Wednesday, May 24, 2006. Thursday, August 03, 2006. These are Mason's new Elmo houseshoes. He walked around bent over just so he could watch them! They really made him giggle! And he said "Cheese" for the camera! This is the first time Mason has actually eaten spaghetti. Of course, he wanted "more"! He made such a huge mess (notice he has on no clothes! We just had to get a few pictures. Friday, June 01, 2007. We took a family trip to Destin, FL over the Memorial day weekend! We went with Mimi, PawPaw, Uncle Blake "Bubba", and Aunt Karen. Beautiful beach and gorgeouse weather. After 2 years of being terrified of Santa, Mason sat in his lap today.and was happy about it! He even told him what he wanted for Christmas and touched his beard! Monday, July 21, 2008. Another big event that happened this summer was Mason's new glasses. He has had them about 2 weeks, and has done surprisingly well keeping them on and in one piece. Of course, he loves to be told how handsome he looks in them! He says when he wears them he has Superman eyes! Thursday, July 17, 2008. Ok, so I kinda gave up on this blog about a year ago. Wednesday, July 25, 2007. Choo, Choo Chattanooga. Our family took a trip back to Chattanooga in July. We love the city because there is so much for families and kids to do. On this trip we went back to the aquarium, because Mason loved it last time. He had a ball, but was scared of the penguins for some strange reason! They were so cute!
