Sunday, August 2, 2015. Yesterday all the cousins went up the creek and took a swim a the sand dunes. All the kids were pretty brave and avoided any leech attacks (maybe there was one). Frog hunting was also part of the agenda. The older kids wore their life jackets and let the stream carrying them down. Once they got to a certain spot, they would run back and do it all over again. It looked fun! Hank had so much fun. His favorite is throwing rocks. He loves it! Hank braved the water with Grandpa and Hoot.

Saturday, November 29, 2014. A week of thanksgiving. Well today is Friday. A week ago, Steve and I had Hank out to Primary Children’s Medical Center for his preoperative appointment. Today, we are home with our little family and so grateful for modern medicine and amazing doctors. Here’s the week in review. Preop day. Had a visit with cardiothoracic surgeon nurse pracitioner. Sunday, April 13, 2014. Up the canyon (just a little ways) we went to the river walk. Hank’s first visit. It was such a nice day and Drew had too much fun collecting sticks, rocks, and pinecones to show Grandpa. Hank had a great time and enjoyed the outdoors. He is definitely a 4-year old. Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Merry Christmas from the Williams. Friday, December 12, 2014. Our annual visit to SC at the Budge Clinic Christmas Party. The anticipation. Drew said he was afraid to talk to Santa because he worried Santa would tell him that he was getting coal for christmas. Poor Hank. So worried. As Drew would, he talked his ear off. He told Santa he wanted a marble toy this year. Quite pleased with the results. Hank struggled, so did Santa. Hank didn’t want one finger on him.

Madelyn and Gabe had been when they were very little (and Carter was there 4 weeks before delivery) but the younger kids had never been, and none of them really remembered it. Vovo and Papa treated everyone to a day at Disneyland and I loved getting to ride the oldies like the Matterhorn, Splash Mountain, and Pirates. Instant trip back to childhood! Thursday, March 29, 2012. It's That Time Again! Ava has really been needing a hair cut again. So today mom cut it for me! I really love what she did! This is the "after" from her last hair cut. She was such a big girl for Grandma! She was pretty wiggly but she did so good! Typical Ava look… She did NOT want to smile pretty for me. Oh there's a cute smile! We got really bold this time! Mom cut off quite a bit! She even did some layers so it would curl better! Way to be a big girl Ava Baby!
